Dave Stidd's Fiero Pro Street Conversion

So, Dave gets the itch to do something extraordinary with his '85 V-6. An engine conversion wasn't enough, nor was a body kit.. He decided on a full blown, driveable, Pro-Street class modification.

The car will have a full tube frame and roll cage, LT-1 engine, built 700R4 transmission, 9" Ford rear end with 4 link coil over set-up. Oh, those 18-1/2" wide Hoosier tires aren't too shabby either!

UPDATE, 4-5-04:
Engine was delivered on 1-1-04. Big problem was that nobody makes a front mounting plate for the LT-1 engine. It had to be custom laser cut.
Axles & ring & pinion arrived week of 3-9-04. The rear-end has been cut shorter than the photos show.
New photos show the seats, nitrous bottle, engine & transmission and the battery & fuel cell.
Dave's dream is being made possible by Jason at Precision Built Racecraft. Dave says that Jason is  a true craftsman!
